On-Page SEO

On-page SEO covers everything within your control on the page itself: a title tag that matches search intent, one clear H1, a logical heading hierarchy, descriptive URLs, internal links with meaningful anchor text, image alt text, and structured data.

It is distinct from off-page SEO (links and mentions from other sites) and technical SEO (crawlability, speed, rendering). On-page work has the fastest feedback loop: fixing a title tag or restructuring headings can move rankings within weeks.

The most common failure mode is writing for the company instead of the searcher. Every page should target a specific query with a specific intent, and answer it before asking for anything.
